Addictive, honestly. I had some trouble at first (probably because I denied permissions right after installation, like an idiot- so the program couldn't function properly). I deleted the installation and re-installed the program, this time giving the program access to ALL the files/tools it needed. Now the program is functioning PERFECTLY, and I can't stop cataloging my household. It's addictive! At first I was a bit shocked because I had no idea (before now) how much money I've invested in my hobbies.

And I was sure my husband would be annoyed if he saw the actual numbers. Instead, he started giving me the info for HIS collectibles to add to our inventory catalog. He's got a gallery of all his LEGO sets, and it's a lot of fun to flip through them all, and to check out current values. We can't stop. Every large item we've bought (electronics, appliances, steam cleaner, toys, jewelry, collectibles) is accounted for in our log.

It's amazing to be able to see photos and receipts for everything we own in one place. And it's always such a sad process trying to figure out what didn't make it to our next station to file for reimbursement. Now it's as easy as going through each category to confirm which items were delivered and what went missing.

I wish we'd had this program before our last relocation. It would have made a big difference for us. Just having receipts to prove that we owned the things we said we owned would have meant that we were treated more fairly. I use the mobile backup feature to keep a copy on my iPhone, just in case something catastropic happens to my iMac. If I ever need to restore the inventory to my desktop iMac, or to a new system altogether, it should be a breeze. The developers are very responsive, also.

I have contacted their support department several times over the last couple years about things that may have been my problem. However they were able to sort through it and fix it every time.

I had some trouble at first (probably because I denied permissions right after installation, like an idiot- so the program couldn't function properly). I deleted the installation and re-installed the program, this time giving the program access to ALL the files/tools it needed. Now the program is functioning PERFECTLY, and I can't stop cataloging my household. It's addictive! At first I was a bit shocked because I had no idea (before now) how much money I've invested in my hobbies.

And I was sure my husband would be annoyed if he saw the actual numbers. Instead, he started giving me the info for HIS collectibles to add to our inventory catalog. He's got a gallery of all his LEGO sets, and it's a lot of fun to flip through them all, and to check out current values.

We can't stop. Every large item we've bought (electronics, appliances, steam cleaner, toys, jewelry, collectibles) is accounted for in our log.

It's amazing to be able to see photos and receipts for everything we own in one place. My home insurance company has been pestering me for a list of valuables and I've always had to estimate the value (which was WAY off, because I had no idea just how much money we had wrapped up in personal belongings). Now I can provide receipts on a moment's notice, if that's ever needed. We're a military family, which means we move a LOT.

Some of our stuff disappears every time the military moves us. And it's always such a sad process trying to figure out what didn't make it to our next station to file for reimbursement. Now it's as easy as going through each category to confirm which items were delivered and what went missing. I wish we'd had this program before our last relocation. It would have made a big difference for us. Just having receipts to prove that we owned the things we said we owned would have meant that we were treated more fairly. I use the mobile backup feature to keep a copy on my iPhone, just in case something catastropic happens to my iMac.

If I ever need to restore the inventory to my desktop iMac, or to a new system altogether, it should be a breeze. The developers are very responsive, also. I contacted them early on after I messed up the first installation by denying permissions. They're very nice and helpful. I love this program!

I can't believe how cheap it is. But I'm grateful that they've made it reasonable so that more people could use it.

However, very detailed and you can expand the detail as much as you desire. You can include as many pictures as you wish and as many receipts or files as you desire. This is a real plus that makes it well worth using. I have contacted their support department several times over the last couple years about things that may have been my problem. However they were able to sort through it and fix it every time. Actually it was pretty amazing how they can figure out what you're doing or not doing and get you on the right track.
