Buscar Templates Dg For Mac

Posted on  by  admin

Hi, I have Word 2016 for Mac installed on my Mac using Office 365 for students. When I load Word, I see the installed templates (like Brochure, blank doc etc) but when I select a template and then click 'Create', nothing happens and Word just disappears. I don't get an error message, I don't get a 'Word quit unexpectedly' window and in the Dock Word is still 'open'. But the Word window just disappears and I have to click on Word in the Dock for it to come up again.

This doesn't happen with all the templates and sometimes a template will open and sometimes it won't. If I sign out of Word, the same seemingly random thing happens.

Does anyone have any idea why this is and how I can fix it? Is anyone else having the same issue? Thanks in advance for any help! Hello everyone, Thank you for posting in the Answers Community.

As you noted on this thread, there was an issue with some of our UK English templates where templates did not open in Word and no error was displayed. Our engineering team fixed the templates, and we have verified that they will work as expected or our UK customers. In order to get the updated templates immediately on your Mac, please do the following: Note: The steps below will remove the cache of templates so you can download the new ones without waiting for the cache to expire. Confirm you have an internet connection so you can download the new templates. Launch Finder and select the menu option Go Go to Folder. Enter this path: /Library/Containers/com.microsoft.Word/Data/Library/Caches/2057/. Delete all the contents of this folder (a set of sub-folders containing the templates cache).

Re-launch Word. The new templates will download automatically.

Thanks, Michelle V.
